phpRateIt! Script v0.50

This script allows webmasters to enable visitors to rate articles or which ever documents they want to see how well visitors receive the content. A demo is currently unavailable as we no longer have OBDC support. You can check back on that page for the latest demonstration of the script.

Current Features

• Powerful script that can be included into possibly thousands of pages and maintain each page's rating
• Uses CSS Stylesheets for customized appearance
• Stores IPs in Access Database to disable multiple ratings by a user
• Translate posted URLs into clickable links which can be enabled/disabled
• Quick and easy to use. Just modification of a few lines of code and include the script into any/all page(s)
• Similar feel and coding structure to our phpComment script
• Password protected database

Future (Possible) Implementations

• Cookie support to further prevent multiple ratings per user (eg. dynamic IP addresses from dialup users)
• Extras such as the ability to display how many users rated an article/page
• Administrative login to allow admin to disable/enable ratings on specified articles/documents and more
